Have you ever wanted to try Stack without committing straight away? This limited-edition Surprise Pack is the perfect way to do exactly that, providing a one-off delivery of five previous subscriber magazines for just £20. As always, there are only 100 of these Surprise Packs available and we’re not re-stocking, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The magazines in this pack are worth a total of £73 and just like with our monthly magazine club, you won’t know what they are until they arrive at your door. They cover a range of subjects, from art and design, to literature, fashion and the environment, and they have all been enjoyed by our subscribers at some point in the last year. (It’s worth emphasising that the illustration above gives no clue about what you’ll receive. I don’t think there’s a single article about insects in any of the magazines.)

Mildew issue 2

The fashion magazine with a difference, Mildew focuses on secondhand clothes to create a beautifully warm, nostalgic picture of what we wear. There’s a strong ideological angle too – Mildew’s vision of secondhand provides an alternative to the social and environmental damage done by fast fashion, and even extends to alternative models of ownership. And because none of the clothes on its pages are for sale, it’s a rare example of a fashion magazine that’s not trying to sell you anything.

Buffalo Zine is a satirical fashion magazine with a cult following, famous for changing its entire design and format every issue.

Issue 15 presents a reconsideration of pink as a dark colour with hidden depths. Or in the words of editor Adrian Gonzalez-Cohen: “Pink is a troubled colour. It’s dark, very unresolved. Distracting. Issues. It’s very happy on the surface, silly, easy. But it’s not. It’s heavy. Deep. Don’t let it fool you.”
